When he found out many of the athletes work 2 or 3 jobs just to afford to compete, he decided to sponsor the team in Paris. Now they can focus on playing the game they love without any distractions. Making it’s debut in Tokyo 2020, the Paris games has doubled the medals which doubled the amount of climbers able to call themselves olympic athletes. 68 athletes will compete this in this growing sport.
Olympics Skateboarding
Skateboarding made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, and it was a blast! It featured some of the youngest medalists ever, with Momiji Nishiya, just 13 years old, and Cocona Hiraki, only 12, taking home medals. The future of skateboarding looks bright with these young stars leading the way!

Olympics Surfing
Surf’s up! This is only the second Olympics where surfing is a medal sport, and it’s happening at a region of Tahiti, known as “the end of the world.” The waves here range from 6 to 10 feet, sometimes even hitting 20 feet! And if you haven’t checked it out yet, Colin Jost might just be the funniest sports commentator at the games this year. Catch the wave!
